Poem: “The Moment I Remember”

letter_toc

The Moment I Remember

The moment I remember,

In the days of being left alone,

When I stayed in mute morning air,

I saw you in warm grin.

The moment I remember,

In the days I couldn’t find any light in a gray sky,

When I wandered with a pale glimmer

I heard you come.

The moment I remember,

In the days of quietness in the weight of life,

When I intoned His name over and over,

I felt touch of your voice in rifeness.

You, child, resemble one fine spring day.

I didn’t cry for my aliveness,

But your smile was a sign of love,

Your little steps were gestures of hope,

Your sound was a song of peace.
